Entrance to House of Louis Stern, Esq., 993 Fifth Ave., New York, NY
Schickel & Ditmars, architect(s). From the American Architect and Building News, February 17, 1900. 13 by 17 inches. VG condition with some light browning around the edges (not affecting the picture).
Gelatine Print. This picture is extremely hard to find. The American Architect and Building News had a very small circulation during this time and these original gelatine prints only appeared in a very limited number of issues that were distributed to a few prominent architects. This is from the architect Bruce Price's collection. It measures 13 by 17 inches (without border). Has a mat border and foam core backing (not attached to the picture). The whole picture measures approximately 17 by 21 inches (with border). Extraordinary detail in this early photographic print. Shrink wrapped.
