Framing Information

Scenes from a Visit to the Statue and Proposed Emigrant Landing Place at Bedloe's (Liberty) Island in New York, New York from Once A Week Magazine, April 8, 1890.  HAND-COLORED.

This picture is extremely hard to find, as Once A Week not only had a very small circulation during that time, but very few were hand-colored as this has been.  It measures approximately 15.75 by 11 inches.  Has a mat border and foam core backing (not attached to the picture).  The whole picture measures approximately 18.5 by 13.5 inches (with mat border).  Finely detailed and beautifully hand-colored.  Shrink wrapped.

Picture is in VG+ condition with light browning.
