Pennsylvania

Founded in 1681 when William Penn received a royal charter from King Charles II of England, Pennsylvania has a long and fascinating history. Its architecture acts as a memorial to time gone by, and our collection of original hand-colored antique architectural plans and prints, gelatines, lithographs, and photogravures exemplifies their beautiful architectural history. One can see the range of building activity taking place in the state.  Famous architects such as Chandler, Pearson and White are featured in this collection.
